We have the 2nd annual SMVHS Pet Pin-Up Calendar. Proceeds for this beautiful calendar will benefit the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society's new adoption facility and Newspapers in Education through the Santa Maria Times. These calendars make a great gift in time for the holiday season and you'll be supporting a great cause. Pick up a calendar at our clinic or at these locations.
Pet Luminaria booth at the Relay for Life -posted July 3, 2011
For the 5th year in a row, the Animal Clinic of Santa Maria is proud to sponsor a Pet Luminaria booth at this year's Relay For Life to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. The event will be held at the Elks Unocal Event Center in Santa Maria on Saturday, July 9, 2011.

Vet Tech program in development-posted March 30, 2011
The Humane Society and Allan Hancock College have partnered to bring a vet tech program to Santa Maria. The new animal care facility to be built on West Stowell Rd. will also house a classroom/lab space to accommodate a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) training program. These cooperative efforts will help bring advanced animal care training to the area. Dr. Seidenberg is excited to be a part of the development and teaching aspects of the program. SMV Humane Society's "April in Paris"-posted February 28, 2011
The Santa Maria Valley Humane Society presents a Four-Legged-Affair "April in Paris" on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Santa Maria Country Club from 6 to 11pm. Please join us for an evening of dinner and dancing with live music, auctions and raffles to benefit the SMVHS. This is their major annual event to raise much-needed funds to help support both on-going operations and for the new state-of-the art facility.

Pet Pin-up Photo Day"-posted January 6, 2011
Show your pet how much you care by donating to the SMVHS and having them professionally photographed while enjoying a day of fun and food. Saturday, February 12th, 2011 from 10am-4pm at Arrow Camera in Santa Maria. Proceeds benefit the Pet Project.

Supporters brought in $500 in Pet Luminaria donations at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life-posted July 12, 2010
The Animal Clinic of Santa Maria sponsored the Pet Luminaria Booth again this year at the Relay for Life of Santa Maria, held on July 10-11, 2010 at the Elks Unocal Event Center.
We thank everyone who participated to make the event a great success.
Food Drive to benefit animals at the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society -posted June 17, 2010
We will have a collection bin in our lobby for the next week until June 26th. The following items are especially needed: Dog and cat food(Purina Kitten Chow, Friskies's Classic Pate, Healthwise Dry Adult dog food, Healthwise Active small kibble, Science Diet Adult canned dog food); rawhide chews, collars, nylon leads, non-clumping cat litter, liquid hand sanitizer, liquid laundry detergent, paper towels, “kiddie” swimming pools and squeaky toys for dogs. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Celebrate "Be Kind to Animals Week" at the Santa Maria Animal Center -posted April 29, 2010
As part of "Be Kind to Animals Week", Santa Barbara County Animal Services is holding a week-long open house and adoption celebration from May 3 to 8. All three shelters, including the one at 548 W. Foster Road in Santa Maria are open from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
