Nursing Staff

In order to become a registered veterinary technician (RVT), a candidate must fulfill the educational requirements set forth by the California Veterinary Medical Board and successfully pass the board examination. Nursing professionals assist veterinarians in performing their duties in the care and health of animals.

Our highly experienced staff keep their skills and knowledge on the cutting edge through in-house training, on-line forums and attendance at local association meetings and seminars.

Their exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities include monitoring anesthesia, performing radiography, laboratory services, administering medications and fluids, intravenous catheter placement, instrument pack preparation and sterilization, and wound care. Additionally, they perform inventory management, client education and record keeping.
