Registered Veterinary Technicians
Rosie Muranaka, RVT
Rosie graduated from United Health Careers Institute in 1992 and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her work-related interests include working with exotic pets, radiology, pet grooming and dog training.
She enjoys reading, gardening and wood-carving. Her pet family includes her dogs: Daynie (pictured as a puppy), Tessa, Skyler and Raina and her cats: Catera and Indy. She recently fostered and adopted two medically-challenged kittens from the SMV Humane Society, Bozeman and Hope. At only 4 weeks of age, they contracted a severe virus that caused each of them to lose an eye. They are now growing into healthy cats.
Patti studied communications at UC Santa Barbara where she received her BA degree. She completed her studies at Allan Hancock College and is in the process of becoming an RVT.
Her personal interests include swimming, golf and hiking and spending time with her cat, Bosco (not pictured).
Justie is currently enrolled at Allan Hancock College where she plans to continue her studies in the RVT program.
She has 2 dogs, Diego and Onyx (pictured) and a cat, George. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Hannah completed the Veterinary Technology Program at Allan Hancock College in 2015 and is preparing for her licensing exams.
She enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and fishing with her fiance. She is pictured with her 1 year old pug, Allen, who likes to chew on socks.
Kelsey is attending Allan Hancock College with plans to enroll in the Veterinary Technology program. Her long-term goal is to become a veterinarian.
She loves animals and going on adventures with friends and her dog, Bubba, who has a little snore and loves to cuddle. She enjoys riding horses and motorcycles, and loves to eat.
Jasmine is currently attending the Veterinary Technology program at Allan Hancock College. She has an associates degree in math and science from College of the Sequoias and would like to further her education in Animal Science and Environmental studies.
She likes reading and trying new restaurants and being out in nature with her family. She has two cats, Buttercup (pictured) and Mysterious.
Alyssa is attending Allan Hancock College. She works primarily with the dogs and cats that are boarding with us. After completing her general education classes, Alyssa plans to transfer to San Diego State University.
She is pictured with her 4 year old brindle boxer, Bella, that was rescued from one of the local shelters.
